The objective of the consulting assignment was to assist the Government of the Republic of Zambia through the Ministries of Commerce, Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of Transport and Communications. The project involved developing a National Trade Logistics Strategy in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry, and the World Bank. The role of VisionRI as the lead firm in the consortium included organizing and managing the delivery of the assignment. Key tasks involved undertaking a literature review and summarizing findings, identifying information gaps, conducting primary analysis, developing a national compendium for trade facilitation and logistics, and preparing a national trade logistics strategy that included an implementation and investment plan with strategies.
