The consultancy assignment aimed at developing the Ethiopian Port Community System (EPCS) requirements focused on facilitating a secure and intelligent exchange of information between public and private entities along the Ethio-Djibouti corridor. The primary goal of this project, led by the Ethiopian Maritime Authority (EMA) and supported by the World Bank, was to enhance EMA’s internal technical capacity in line with the National Logistics Strategy (NLS). A significant aspect of this initiative was the transformation of Modjo Dry Port into the Modjo Green Logistics Hub (MGLH). This transformation required the integration of EPCS with Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) and Electronic Gate Pass Systems, alongside other logistic systems in the corridor, including the Shipping Expert System (SES), SeaLiner, Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud, and others.
