From November 2021 to November 2022, we provided expert consulting services to develop a cutting-edge, cloud-based Data Management System (DMS) for the Southern African Power Pool (SAPP) in collaboration with the World Bank. This transformative solution serves as a centralized repository for all critical data related to planning, project development, operations, markets, and environmental factors. Designed as a seamless "Cloud-based Content Service Platform," the system enhances data accessibility, efficiency, and decision-making.
The project was executed in three key phases, starting with an in-depth analysis of SAPP’s requirements, a comprehensive review of existing data management needs, and the strategic planning and documentation necessary to build a robust cloud-based DMS. The second phase focused on system design and development, where we defined the system architecture, specified data center requirements, and built a high-performance platform through a rigorous development and testing process. Finally, the third phase ensured full-scale implementation, including system deployment, seamless data migration, and comprehensive training for users, supported by detailed guidelines and documentation.
By integrating innovative technology and industry best practices, we delivered a future-ready, scalable, and secure data management solution that empowers SAPP to streamline operations and enhance digital transformation across its ecosystem.
