The project aimed to support the government of Uttaranchal in preparing the projects to improve the urban environment and living conditions of urban residents and enhance economic growth. The urban infrastructure consisted of water supply, sewerage and sanitation, waste water management, solid waste management, urban roads etc. The study prepared the sub-projects including detailed design for ADB finding. We undertook social safeguard planning through community consultation and participation of other stakeholders.
