The main objective of the consulting assignment is providing comprehensive assistance to the Oyo State and Project Implementation Unit (PIU) based in Ibadan to develop a Flood Early Warning and Response System and to enhance community resilience to respond effectively to early warnings. It is expected that this warning system will be an integral part of the national system taking advantage of and providing input to the federal systems of NISHA, NIMET and NEMA.
