The purpose/objectives of the assignment are:

  • Enhance public awareness, behavior change and community participation in SWM and 3R in the project area.
  • Strengthen the capacity of outer islands in community-based SWM and IWMCs operation and maintenance, targeting a minimum 50% women participation.
  • Improve institutional and community awareness and capacity in DRR.
  • Implementation of Gender Action Plan.
